CLIO Cup - Croft 31 May 2008 - 1 June 2008

David Dickenson was penalised in qualifying for having all four wheels off the road. His fastest two times were disallowed.

CLIO Cup - Thruxton 17 - 18 May 2008

It all fell apart for Gavin Pyper and Aron Smith during qualifying when the cars returned to the truck during a red flag period and were consequently penalised by disallowing their times, which would have put them comfortably in the top ten. They therefore started both races from the back of the grid.

David Dickenson compounded the teams woes when he slid into the barrier at the chicane to cause the red flag. This left the mechanics busy to rebuild the front of the car before the Saturday's race.

In both races Gavin and Aron were unable to make little progress from the back and David's race was compromised on Saturday as there was little time to set the car up after the crash.

After Thruxton Aron Smith is 6th in the championship, Gavin Pyper 9th and David dickenson 22nd. Mardi Gras are 5th in the team championship.

CLIO Cup - Donnington Park 3 - 4 May 2008

It was a hot and humid Donnington where Gavin Pyper managed to get back on the podium after disappointing first race. On Saturday he clashed with Paul Rivett coming out of the last corner, badly damaging the rear beam in the accident. Paul was to continue only to be involved in a later incident where his car was destroyed. On Sunday Gavin was to be as high as second before a slip at the Old Hairpin was to drop him back. He however regained places to finish a good third.

Aron Smith was again to show his fine race skills recovering from disappointing qualifying in both races.

David Dickenson was less lucky on Sunday where he was forced out wide into a gravel trap bringing his race to a premature end.

CLIO Cup - Rockingham 12 - 13 April 2008

The meeting was to start with the most bizarre qualifying session for a long time. With heavy rain starting starting soon after the session many driver did not achieve two good qualifying runs.

Gavin Pyper was to finish second in race one, starting from the front row, but could not make a lot of his lowly qualifying position in race two. Aron Smith was again to show maturity with two steady point scoring drives. David Dickenson suffered for his poor qualifying and an ambitious maneuver was to put him out in race two.

After two rounds Aron Smith lies 3rd in the Championship, Gavin Pyper 8th and David Dickenson 18th. In the team championship Mardi Gras lie 3rd.

CLIO Cup - Brands Hatch 29 - 30 March 2008

The season started with a bang at Brands Hatch leaving the team with a reshell on Gavin Pyper's car and heavy repair work on David Dickenson's car.

Round 1 started well with all the team's cars well placed but Round 2 was to be less successfully.

David Dickenson's drive was particularly impressive to come through from 16th on the grid in round 1 but he slid into the barriers at Paddock fairly early in the second race. The race was to be red flagged when Phil Glew and Gavin Pyper tangled, sending Gavin heavily into the barrier.

This left Aron Smith with a second steady drive to finish two races in point scoring positions.
